It isn’t often that I truly feel bittersweet emotions, but today is one of those days since it was Silvia’s last day before she’s off to Switzerland to embark on her PhD studies. I’m thrilled that she’s moving on to greener pastures and excited to see her career progress, but also sad to see her leave, of course, since she was a great addition to the lab. Who knew that there would be more emotionally challenging moments in this job than getting grant applications rejected. Good luck, Silvia, we wish you all the best!

Thank you also to Susanne Nylén for supporting and welcoming me to the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology.

The website is launched! But why? Well, as Johnny Bravo said: “Enough about me. Let’s talk about me. What do you think of me?”
